![]() ![]() brinesis (krib) is not a dwarf cichlid, it is an african cichlid, it is just one of the mellowest african cichlid species, another example. I do not like this, some one of them are good, but most are bad, for example. It doesn’t have to be tons of species but I just need hep asap. I’ve added ph balance dechlor, and plan food, and now the ich guard. Ive also tested the water and it is very hard. Anyway, I really am not sure what to do and now my the tetras have ich. Originally, I had platties and gouramies but three of four gouramies died and I gave one to my mom. he looks like he has some tears as well.this is driving me crazy. i took the gourami out last night and he was having a hard time so I put him in a pitcher and put that into the tank. So, now I am not sure who is nipping who. Well, then the plain black skirted tetras started showing signs of distress (only one tank) and so I put them in my long finned came out and seemed like they wanted to school but then when the long finned went to the top, the gourami came zipping by and the poor guy went back into hiding. I took out the injured ones but then I read that you should take out the aggressors as it is stressful enough that you don’t want to add more to injured. ![]() The main problem is that the long finned tetra have been beat up pretty badly. My current fish: 8 platties, two plain guppies, 3 black skirted tetras, two long finned black skirted tetras, 1 blue dwarf gourami, and a baby plecastimus. I actually only have this one because I am holding the 36 gallon while my brother is abroad for several years. ![]()
